This is a basic list of fees for various editing tasks that I'm available for:
Anthology editing: $200-$500 advance + 3-15% of royalties...contact with details for an exact quote
Book Proposal Consultation: $20-$50/hr....contact with details for an exact quote
Book Query Critique: $40 for critique of letter to agent or publisher
Content Editing: $10-$100/hr....contact with details for an exact quote
Copyediting: $3/page
Ghostwriting: $2,000-$20,000 (plus expenses for any travel, research, postage)...contact with details for an exact quote
Manuscript critique: $1-$2/page...contact with details for an exact qoute
Proofreading: $1/page
Research for writers or book publishers: $20-$40/hr....contact with details for an exact quote...the more fun it will be, the lower the fee
Typing: $2/page
Basic Web Design: Contact with details for quote
These prices are based off of a list from Writers Market. In most cases, these prices are at or below the lowest recommended prices. Just as a piece of advice, the more likely it is that I'm going to enjoy the project, the more likely it is that I'll charge the lower rates.
